Neil and Wendy — Wedding!

Downtown ….. again

JP and Vince Perform at Market Square

Derek and Lexine

Yes, today was a bit warm. Really, really warm. A far cry from last weeks down pour. But it was a great day despite the heat. I photographed a very fun wedding for Derek and Lexine at UVic and here are some of my favorite shots.

Robert and Charlynne Redux :)

The most beautiful thing about shooting digital is that you’re never really done with a photo. You can always go back and fix, touch up and recreate your photos. I’m currently testing out a version of Alien Skin Exposure 3, a fantastic software program for photo editing. Basically, it allows digital photographers to recreate their digital images and transform them into seamless authentic film stock. I re-did some photos I did of a shoot with Robert and Charlynne. I am super stoked on this product and I highly suggest it to any budding or advanced photographer.

Robert and Charlynne – Engagement

Today was a beautiful day for some engagement photos. I met up with Robert and Charlynne for some photos down at the inner harbour. They are a great couple to work with. They had such great personalities and a sense of humour that had me cracking up as I took photos. Here are a few from today.

Burnett/Kenny Wedding

Rain. The one day of a phenomenal sunny summer and it rained today on what was supposed to be an outdoor wedding. Both Jess and Brian had hunches that it could very well rain, so they had a back up plan. They had arranged their wedding to be in the garden at the Art Gallery and if, IF it rained, they would move indoors. Well, it rained and we were moved indoors. I had to think quick and adapt to the changes because the rehearsal was done outdoors. I was fortunate enough to have my friend Jessica tag teaming and taking photos as well and we both knocked this wedding out of the park!

Current Swell – Young and Able

Victoria based folk band Current Swell have a new video out and it is SO GOOD!!

I shot this photo in late 2008. I remember towards the end of it, we were shooting down in Cordova Bay and I almost got swept away by some giant waves.
